Virtual Saints
I’ve been reading the G. K. Chesterton book about St. Thomas Aquinas. This has me thinking about the life of saints in general. I’m no expert but it seems the more modern the saint the more heavy lifting has been required. Taking care of the poor is hard work.
What about the people who spend more time in a virtual world than they do in the actual world. I’m wonder if that counts for anything in celestial terms. Personally I think it does, I think everything counts.
It makes me wonder how long it will be before the Catholic church grants sainthood to someone for their online behavior.
