The Lottery

Here's a question I like to ask people when lottery fever reaches an epidemic.

You have a choice between these two options.

1) You can have 50 million dollars but in order to keep it you must maintain your current employment, take only accrued time off, work the necessary overtime, etc. Pretty much what you are doing right now except you'd be a millionaire.

2) Whatever you are earning at your current job, (assuming future raises, etc.) is mailed to you every month. You don't have to work for it and it will keep coming every month for the rest of your life.

Which would you chose?
